T-Scan

In order to evaluate a patients bite, Dr. Viechnicki relies on a computerized device called a T-scan which uses a sensor to scan the entire mouth and measure the amount of force on each tooth. Once determined, she can selectively alter the stronger forces on certain tetwh by recontouring the teeth o equalize the pressure throughout the bite.

This computer analysis of your mouth is used both before and after restorations are placed to "dial in" your bite. It helps detect potential cracks, broken teeth and wear and tear from grinding and clenching.
